Email Congress and the President: No More War Weapons to Police

The evidence is overwhelming. Militarizing police does not reduce crime or save lives. In fact, the main difference that militarizing police makes is that the police kill more people.

Cities and states have had enough. Several have now banned some or all military weaponry and/or the military-style training of police departments.

But we need Congress to act, to ban the transfer to any police department of weaponry from the U.S. military.
