The case we've been making for the impeachment of Donald Trump since his inauguration day continues to garner support.
On Trump's inauguration day, we offered numerous examples of how Trump was violating the emoluments clauses of the U.S. Constitution, including through his lease of the Old Post Office Building in Washington, D.C. Now the Inspector General of the General Services Administration has published a report agreeing with us.
We set up a F.A.Q. answering all the expected what-about-Pence, what-about-the-Senate, what-about-Russiagate questions. Now a senior editor of The Atlantic, an establishment magazine, has published a lengthy call for impeachment almost entirely agreeing with what we've said for two years.

We also need to keep telling Congress. Click here to do that.
The same day that the GSA Inspector General issued that report, the Washington Post published a report on the Trump Hotel in the Old Post Office Building welcoming several T-Mobile executives for repeated extended stays, profiting Trump in violation of the GSA's lease contract and the U.S. Constitution, while lobbying the Trump administration for approval of a $26 billion merger with Sprint.
While Trump is rubbing all of our faces in his claim to live above the law, his nominee for Attorney General William Barr recently testified to Congress that he simply did not know what the emoluments clauses meant. What else could he say? If he admitted what they meant, he'd be admitting to blatant violations of the Constitution by the President. The important thing is that a Senator asked him.
Meanwhile, there's a new House of Representatives very noisily begun, yet no impeachment hearings. We need to change that. Here are some ways to help.
