Your U.S. representative and senators are home -- in their districts and states -- until April 24th. Meanwhile, a dangerous president is continuing to escalate war after war, while risking nuclear confrontation with Russia or China.

You can make good use of this week to build pressure for genuine diplomacy and peace.
In-person meetings and emphatic nonviolent protests (with videos!) have been key to preventing war horrors in the past, including prevention of the planned bombing of Syria in 2013.
Here are seven effective actions you can take:
1. Find out what public events your representative and senators have scheduled nearby, and plan to attend. You can see your local choices by clicking here.
2. Print these signs to hold up at events.
3. Email your Congressional delegation your views on U.S. relations with Syria and Russia by clicking here.
4. Phone your representative's and senators' district and state offices. Find their numbers here.
5. Organize a local group and ask for a meeting with Congress members or staff.
6. Looking ahead, plan a public event and invite your representative and senators to attend.
7. Take a group uninvited to local Congressional offices and make your views known. You might want to hold a sit-in, set up a picket line, convene a rally; by all means notify the media.
