Congress has now overridden the veto!

9/11 victims' families can now sue Saudi Arabia.

Congress may try to undo or weaken this during the lame-duck session, just after the elections, when they may also try to pass new war spending and possibly the Trans-Pacific Partnership. We must remain vigilant.

But let us hope that the fears of opponents of this bill are answered, and that lawsuits against war-making nations, including the United States government, proliferate. Court cases would sure make a preferable alternative to more terrorism/wars!
