Your help just persuaded the U.S. State Department to grant British whistleblower Craig Murray a visa to come to the United States to speak at a conference on ending war and to present an award to U.S. whistleblower John Kiriakou.

And your help just persuaded the U.S. Army to cease violating some of Chelsea Manning's basic rights. (That struggle continues as she is still threatened with solitary confinement.)

Thank you for all that you do! Please see below for how you could best help us now:

Because of you and thousands of other signers around the world, there's a big stack of petitions to deliver to Berlin near the end of this month.

"The Ramstein Air Base's crucial role in relaying signals for drone strikes is binding the United States and Germany in an unconscionable program for extrajudicial killings," the petition points out. And, "Ramstein is also central to many other military aspects of the 'war on terror' that continues to have such profoundly negative consequences in many nations."

Two U.S. military veterans who are now dedicating themselves to efforts for peace -- a former Air Force technician who worked on the drone program and a former Marine who served in Iraq -- will travel together from the United States to speak in Berlin and present the petition to the German government.

You can help them get to Berlin with a tax-deductible contribution.

Going on the journey to present the petition you signed are drone whistleblower Cian Westmoreland and Matthew Hoh, who led troops in Iraq and went on to work for the State Department before becoming the highest-ranking U.S. official to resign in protest of the war in Afghanistan.

Between the two of them, Cian and Matt will be traveling a total of about 20,000 miles on this journey for peace. Public speaking engagements and media interviews are being set up in Berlin. Now we need to get them there.

Please click here to make a tax-deductible donation to help cover plane fares and other travel costs, so Cian and Matt can get to Berlin with the petition. It currently has more than 21,000 signers. The petition's title: "Move Away from Nonstop War. Close the Ramstein Air Base."

Thank you!
