We did it!
Thank you for speaking up for the Iran agreement. It now has enough U.S. senators publicly committed to supporting it to uphold a veto of any bill to undo it.
This does not mean we can relax. Advocates of hostility and war will continue trying to twist arms and to pursue alternative means of sabotaging the agreement.
Misinformation about Iranian aggression and pursuit of nuclear weapons has been spread by both sides of this debate, and fear of Iran among the U.S. public will be a factor in future decisions.
Nonetheless, any victory for diplomacy erodes the credibility of those who claim war is urgently necessary, in this or in any other case.
Please pat yourselves on the back and take a bow. This may be the closest we come to that rare phenomenon: recognition of the prevention of a war.

It's time we put Congress on notice. Click below to send this message to your two senators and your representative:
If you vote against the Iran agreement I will not vote for you and will urge my friends not to vote for you, whenever your name is on the ballot.
A war on Iran would be immoral, illegal, and potentially of such a disastrous scale as to make the U.S. wars on Iraq and Afghanistan pale in comparison.
Let Congress know how serious this is and how serious we are. Click here.
A war can be avoided if Congress simply lets the agreement stand that has been reached between Iran and the United States and five other nations.
We've been stopping the push for a war on Iran for years and we can go on stopping it if we all raise our voices. That means, show up at public events with Congress members this summer. And click here to put them on notice now.
After sending the email to Congress, please forward this message to your friends. You can also share it from the webpage after taking the action yourself.
This work is only possible with your financial support. Please chip in $3 now.
