Budget Debate Needs an Intervention

One side of the current debate over public spending priorities favors cuts to all the wrong things.

The other side opposes any cuts at all.

This is a debate that leads nowhere useful.  The video at right is an attempted intervention.

We can and should cut spending on
war preparations, wars, foreign bases, spies and assassins, prisons, the drug war, highways, etc.  We should move the money into expanded useful programs funding human needs and green energy.
