End War First

Among other promises, candidate Obama promised to end the Iraq war as soon as he was elected. Yet, President Obama may extend the Iraq war past this year and the Afghanistan war beyond 2014.

Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey has written a letter to the Super Committee documenting savings of $1.8 trillion over 10 years if the wars are ended.

To see an unimaginably progressive Obama, watch this YouTube video. Then sign our letter urging the President and members of Congress to co-sign Representative Woolsey's letter.

Dear President Obama and Members of Congress,

Ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan -- fought in the hypocritical name of democracy -- would save a large portion of the funds supposedly needed to preserve our threatened financing of Medicare and Medicaid.

We urge all members of Congress and the President to sign Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey's letter to the Super Committee documenting savings of $1.8 trillion over 10 years if the wars are ended.

Sincerely,
