RootsAction: Connect. Act. Grow.

Hours ago, HuffPost broke the story that RootsAction.org is now releasing a report about 15 of the most problematic Democrats in the House -- and urging progressives around the country to replace deficient congressmembers via primary challenges.

HuffPost noted that RootsAction is “arming the Democratic Party’s populist wing with a new organizing tool as it seeks to unseat a growing number of incumbents” -- and added that we hope “the report can serve as a road map and source of encouragement for individuals or groups considering a primary run.”

Our report -- titled Bad Blues: Some of the House Democrats Who Deserve to be “Primaried” -- emphasizes that the need for primary challenges is nationwide. . . beyond contesting the 15 profiled incumbents.

The report points out that it is “by no means exhaustive -- only illustrative.” There may well be a Democratic member of Congress near you “who serves corporate interests more than majority interests, or has simply grown tired or complacent in the never-ending struggles for social, racial and economic justice as well as environmental sanity and peace.”

The full Bad Blues report can be read at BadBlues.org. From the webpage, please share via social media.

Voters in many districts are ready to be inspired by a progressive primary candidate because the Democrat in Congress is not up to the job.

If you support RootsAction’s work to replace establishment Democrats with genuine progressives, please take a minute now to contribute whatever you can afford. We appreciate it!

Thank you!
