In a matter of days, your Representative will be asked to continue and expand President Trump's and Attorney General Sessions' unconstitutional power to spy on Americans without a warrant under Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act.

Congress needs to hear from you, NOW. Click here to send an email.

Trump's so-called intelligence agencies are trying to ram through a reauthorization of Section 702 that would allow and expand the government's unconstitutional practice of searching for Americans' communications without a warrant, including in investigations that have nothing to do with national security and without any evidence of wrongdoing. Section 702 governs the PRISM and Upstream programs revealed by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden in 2013.

Tell your Representative and Senators with one click to support the USA RIGHTS Act (S 1997, HR 4124) and oppose the FISA Amendments Reauthorization Act (S 139).

Under the FISA Amendments Reauthorization Act, Jeff Sessions would design the procedures for querying information collected under unconstitutional mass surveillance programs. Donald Trump has pushed for racist policies, called for prosecution of his political opponents, and undermined the rule of law. Congress has no business giving him the "legal" right to the same kind of uncontrolled spying that was used to persecute Martin Luther King Jr.

Congress can't claim to be resisting Trump while empowering Jeff Sessions.

The USA RIGHTS Act, introduced by Senators Paul and Wyden and Representatives Amash and Lofgren, would defend Americans' right to privacy. There's no excuse for your member of Congress and Senators to support anything else. If Congress can't pass the USA RIGHTS Act, they should oppose any attempt to reauthorize Section 702.

The privacy of activists, immigrants, and communities of color is at stake: Click here to tell your member to support the USA RIGHTS Act and to oppose any other reauthorization of Section 702.
