|Your past support for CIA whistleblower Jeffrey Sterling lifted his spirits. Now, this urgent message from Holly Sterling asks for your help at a crucial time.
It has been over a year now since my beloved husband, Jeffrey Sterling, began serving his unjust 3 1/2 year prison sentence. Honestly, this has been the worst year of our lives.
Sadly, the pain continues as Jeffrey is currently suffering from serious cardiac medical issues that have been blatantly disregarded, along with not receiving the proper medical care he is entitled to. Jeffrey has a history of atrial fibrillation, which he was previously hospitalized for, and is now experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness.
I have sent a letter to the Warden on Jeffrey's behalf demanding that he receive the proper medical care. My attempts have gone unanswered, Jeffrey continues to suffer, and we are both terrified of the consequences of not receiving the proper medical care.
Can you please help us? I am doing everything in my power to help Jeffrey, however I cannot do it alone. There are several ways in which you can help:
* Your financial contribution to the Sterling Family Fund would assist with me hiring a lawyer, if necessary, to fight for Jeffrey’s humane right to proper medical care. It also would allow me the privilege to continue to travel the more than 800 miles from home to visit Jeffrey in the prison near Denver. To donate, please click here.
* You may also email or call the Warden, Deborah Denham, demanding that Jeffrey receive the necessary and proper medical care. You may email her at ExecAssistant@bop.gov or call 303-763-4300.
* You may also continue to send words of encouragement to my dear husband Jeffrey. You may write letters and/or send cards to him at the following address:
JEFFREY STERLING, 38338-044
Federal Correctional Institution
9595 West Quincy Avenue
Littleton, CO 80123
I’m writing this with our sincerest gratitude to all of you for supporting Jeffrey and me. Please know that your financial contributions, kind words and letters of support and encouragement, and signing the petition to pardon Jeffrey, provide us the strength to continue to fight for justice. It also reinforces our belief that individuals are inherently good, and genuinely care about each other.
