We can provide immediate relief for students burdened with outrageous education debt, by passing the Student Loan Forgiveness Act (H.R. 4170). This bill would give relief to borrowers with both federal and private student loans.
Tell Education and the Workforce Committee Chairman John Kline to schedule a hearing. And tell your representative to sign on.
This is the first of many steps we need to take to ensure that education is a right, not a privilege.
