Dear Supporter,
Even a lifelong war hawk and interventionist like Newt Gingrich sees there's no victory in Afghanistan. He recently commented that the Afghan people "have spent several thousand years hating foreigners -- and what we have done by staying is become the new foreigners."
Tell President Obama to get the U.S. military out of Afghanistan now.
Although U.S. troops put him in power, Afghan President Karzai can no longer defend night raids, drones, helicopters shooting children, or U.S. troops waving Nazi flags, urinating on corpses, or burning Korans.
And there's a new Pentagon money scandal: The "Defense" Department is avoiding even the smallest of budget cuts by shifting more of our money into the wars in Afghanistan and, yes, Iraq. Enough is enough.
Tell President Obama to bring our war dollars home.
